The host/hostess takes care of our local residents who come to our meeting place Ons Honk in Apeldoorn-south.
Who are we?
Ons Honk is a meeting place at Sperwerlaan 18 in Apeldoorn-south where local residents meet and various activities take place. Our goal is not commercial, it is to connect people and have fun together.
Activities
The host/hostess takes care of our neighbors who come to us. He/she ensures that the community center is a pleasant place for local residents to visit, eat and participate in activities. He/she stimulates these activities and works together with other volunteers.
We ask
We are looking for a volunteer host/hostess for the evenings. Working hours are from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on weekdays. Together we will look at which working hours and working days you would like to help us.
Your tasks will include welcoming local residents, pouring coffee/tea/drinks, playing games or chatting with someone and perhaps in the future various activities such as card evenings, flower arranging, bingo, etc.
As a volunteer host/hostess you meet the following requirements;
• Have a listening ear for our local residents
• Being hospitable
• Able to work independently
• Enjoy being in contact with people
• Able to keep appointments
• Flexibility
