Summary
Every Dutch citizen is required to provide first aid. After this training, you'll be able to do more than just call 911. You can make a difference.
Detailed description
The training is given by Esther Vriezen, accredited trainer first aid. Please note; the training consists of 2 evenings, it is only possible to follow both evenings .
The following topics will be covered:
- Evening 1: Life-saving actions (resuscitation, unconsciousness, neck and spinal injuries, shock)
- Evening 2: Other injuries (diseases, wounds, fractures, dislocations and bruises, temperature injuries.

September 16 and 23 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
A recognized certificate normally costs an average of €150, but Apeldoorn Pakt Aan offers this training exclusively for volunteers from Apeldoorn for only €30 per person. This amount can be transferred with the subject 'Eigenbijdrage EHBO-Training' to IBAN NL02 RABO 0384 1142 96 in the name of Stichting Stimenz.
A maximum of two volunteers per organization/initiative can participate. A second training will follow in the fall. In May there will be a first aid training for volunteers who work with people with disabilities.
Tip: Discuss with your association or foundation whether they would like to reimburse (part of) the costs for you.
