Setting up something new together for your neighborhood, that gives energy! We are looking for cycling volunteers for the Beekbergen team; Bicycle Managers and Coordinators.
In 2022, the Fietsmaatjes Apeldoorn en Omstreeken Foundation started with duo bicycles to enable people who are less mobile to take beautiful bike rides together with a volunteer. This year we want to expand further in Beekbergen.
There are now guests and new registrations in Beekbergen. We are therefore urgently looking for new cycling volunteers. We cannot go cycling without volunteers.
If you live in Beekbergen and are looking for volunteer work in an enthusiastic and committed team where you can also enjoy the beautiful nature, please register with us! Setting up something new together that is meaningful to your own neighborhood, that gives you energy!
We are urgently looking for cycling volunteers. We are also looking for bicycle managers in your area for preventive maintenance of the duo bike. We are also looking for coordinators who meet new registrations and do a test drive. The coordinator links cycling buddies together and keeps in touch with them about their experiences. Cycling volunteers are also welcome!
For more information, see: www.fietsmaatjesapeldoorn.nl . You can also express your interest via our website. We will then contact you for an introductory meeting.

About Fietsmaatjes Apeldoorn
You can enjoy cycling in and around the municipality of Apeldoorn. Unfortunately, this beautiful area is only accessible to a limited extent for residents who are less mobile. While it is extra nice to go outside, to keep moving and to be among people.
“Bicycle Buddies” is a (national) initiative that enables anyone who is not (or no longer) able to cycle independently to set out on an (electrically assisted) side-by-side tandem with a bicycle buddy (bicycle volunteer). At the moment, side-by-side tandems are often only available for residents of institutions, but Fietsmetjes also makes them accessible to people who still live at home.
The wind in your hair. Cycling your favorite route from the past. Thanks to the pedal support, this can be done according to your own ability. On the way nice contact with your cycling buddy who is sitting next to you. We believe that Cycling Buddies in the Apeldoorn region should not be missing.
