You are
A real connector and networker, who can motivate, stimulate and enthuse volunteers and also represent the Red Cross externally. Your passion lies with people, especially with volunteers. You have managerial experience, are strong in communication and result-oriented. You want to release an average of 6 to 8 hours a week on a voluntary basis. Preferably you have a strong affinity with HRM and you live in South Limburg.
You and the function
You are a member of the district administration consisting of 8 members, working according to a collegial decision-making. As a district administrator you are the link between the national administration and the departments. You are ultimately responsible for the Volunteer Management and Training portfolio and follow objectives and the Red Cross volunteer policy:
- Works closely with the Volunteer Management and Training coordinators.
- Develops in close cooperation with an occupational force a policy plan Volunteer Management and Training for the district, including the competence development of the volunteers.
- Translates this policy plan into practice; takes care of internal meetings around volunteer management and visits relevant network meetings to draw attention to the district.
- Gives control of the process of inflow, management and outflow of volunteers.
- Have insight in conducting a volunteer and training administration and guiding it.
- Provides annual planning and reporting.
- Endorses the basic principles of the Red Cross (Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary, Unity and Generality).
