De G-renners zijn renners met een lichamelijke of verstandelijke beperking, met een vorm van autisme, visuele of auditieve beperkingen.
Er zijn (fiets) mogelijkheden voor iedereen!
De groep is zeer divers, en één ieder beleeft de sport op zijn of haar eigen niveau. Er zijn renners die alleen de gezamenlijke trainingen meerijden, maar er zijn ook renners die niet onverdienstelijk wedstrijden rijden.
Het plezier in de sport staat voorop! Daar waar mogelijk sluiten de trainingen, maar ook de wedstrijden, aan op de trainingen en wedstrijden van de jeugdleden van WSV de Zwaluwen. Onze groep met leden is zeer divers, en fietst dan ook op verschillende soorten fietsen. Zo is er de tandem, voor leden met een visuele beperking, maar er zijn ook tri-bikes (3-wielers). Wij beschikken over meerdere aangepaste fietsen welke gebruikt kunnen worden tijdens de training of wedstrijden!
Voorwaarde is dat je ervaring hebt met wielrennen en mountainbiken.

The Deventer Sports Team - All winners! The Deventer Sports Team is the most special sports team in Deventer. All athletes have an intellectual disability. They play sports at various regular sports clubs in the city, at their own level. Exercise is healthy and fun to do. The pleasure that the athletes of the Deventer Sports Team have in practicing their sport is great. They take pride in the performance they deliver and they enjoy the attention they receive. Integration and participation are magic words. Everyone should be able to participate in everything, but that is easier said than done. For athletes with a disability, but also for sports clubs there are sometimes quite a few hooks and eyes. Objectives The Deventer Sportploeg Foundation wants to make it possible for people with intellectual disabilities to participate in various sports in the city. And by making it possible for the team to participate in various tournaments, the highlight of which is the biennial Special Olympics. In addition, the foundation wants to encourage (sports) associations in Deventer to open their doors to people with intellectual disabilities and to expand the range in a responsible manner.
