What does a PR and Communication volunteer do?
You take care of the content of the website, the newsletter, Facebook, printed flyers and local newspaper reports. Of course you work together with the other team members who enthuse you to also write news items in response to their activities. You also work together with our technical web manager. You will also organize local campaigns for the recruitment of guests and volunteers together with the coordinators, such as our upcoming spring campaign!
Who are we?
Cycling buddies Apeldoorn and Surroundings is a citizens' initiative that runs entirely on volunteers. We are very happy with the commitment of a stable group of enthusiastic volunteers. We want to expand our activities to other neighborhoods and villages in our municipality. There are also a number of initiators who have taken on double tasks in the start-up phase. That is why we currently have some vacancies open.
What do we offer?
An enthusiastic and involved team. Setting up something new together that is meaningful to our beautiful municipality, that gives you energy! Fietsmaatjes Apeldoorn uses the national working method of Fietsmaatjes.nl and is therefore well put together. Our initiative has been received positively. Time and time again it is heart-warming when we can give a new cycling duo the opportunity to go out together with the duo bike. Behind every guest is a special story.

About Fietsmaatjes Apeldoorn
“Bicycle Buddies” is a (national) initiative that enables anyone who is not (or no longer) able to cycle independently to set out on an (electrically assisted) side-by-side tandem with a bicycle buddy (bicycle volunteer). At the moment, side-by-side tandems are often only available for residents of institutions, but Fietsmetjes also makes them accessible to people who still live at home.
The wind in your hair. Cycling your favorite route from the past. Thanks to the pedal support, this can be done according to your own ability. On the way nice contact with your cycling buddy who is sitting next to you. We believe that Cycling Buddies in the Apeldoorn region should not be missing.
