At our locations, we have room for volunteers with talents in all areas. Whether you want to practice a hobby together (e.g. music, painting, flower arranging), or want to visit for a cup of coffee, a game or a walk, we can connect you to an individual client (or a group of clients) who enjoys doing activities together with someone else. It is important for our clients not to get lonely, and to do things in a relaxed atmosphere (also outside our location), and to interact with others. Our clients often need continuity and a weekly routine, and although we offer activities that fit within that, there is also a need for a special moment in the week. You can offer them that by offering that little bit extra. It is necessary to be firm in your shoes, to be able to explain well what you are going to do, and a bit of persuasion is sometimes also desirable. For this somewhat challenging position, you will be trained well, and you will work together with permanent employees and other volunteers.
