What do you do as a buddy at Adult Care Beekbergen Het Hietveld?
- As a buddy you offer a listening ear, company and individual attention, thereby contributing to the client's well-being and zest for life;
- Undertake simple but valuable activities, such as walking together, cooking, playing a game, going out for a day, doing something sporty or creative;
- You work based on your employability and flexibility;
- You are a valuable addition to the team of supervisors;
- You contribute to a pleasant and caring environment.

Location and target group
Het Hietveld has locations in Beekbergen, Loenen, and Apeldoorn and supports adults with very intensive support needs. In addition to a mild intellectual disability, there are usually additional behavioral and psychiatric issues such as autism, a personality disorder, or attachment disorder. The support and treatment are aimed at maintaining and developing skills in self-reliance, social independence, and social participation. Clients are given as much direction as possible in their lives, with as few restrictive agreements as possible.
