Rutger is 76 and is looking for a quiet volunteer who can do something with him every now and then
Who is Rutger?
Rutger is a quiet man with a mild intellectual disability. He can talk well and can be direct. He needs time to get to know you. He likes to go to Nijkerk, an outing every now and then, he likes animals (he works at the petting zoo) and he is a member of the billiards club. He has an OV plus card and Valys.
He can walk reasonably well, but not very long distances. He uses a walker outside.
What is Rutger asking?
He needs a volunteer who respects him. Someone who sets boundaries. Of course, someone he clicks with. Someone who speaks light-heartedly and clearly, with sentences that are not too difficult. Preferably a man, with whom he can do something every now and then. Such as visiting a city or village, for example Volendam or Nijkerk. But also going to the city once to buy a fish at the market. Rutger can often do it, so there is no fixed day. Preferably in possession of a car in case you want to go further away.
