Going to the pool together
Who are we?
Diederik is a man with multiple disabilities. He is 44 years old. He would like to swim with a volunteer.
Diederik is deaf and blind. Communication happens through touch. He uses a wheelchair. Transverses happen with a hoist. Diederik can be very active in the water. He needs a lot of help getting dressed and undressed. Diederik likes attention and contact from time to time.
Activities
It swimming is half an hour. The day and time can be discussed, but structurally. Diederik must be helped with dressing and undressing and his transfers are done with a hoist. The pool is on the property where he lives.
We ask
Are you someone who also likes swimming and would like to swim with Diederik? Then you are the person we're looking for.
