Corrie is a woman with a severe intellectual disability. She enjoys the swimming pool, cycling on the side-by-side tandem and driving a car. Will you let her shine?
Who is Corrie?
Corrie is a cheerful 64-year-old woman with a serious intellectual disability. Comparable to a baby's level. She communicates through some gestures and sounds. She loves bathing and going to a swimming pool. She then plays with plastic toys in the water. But she also likes a ride on our side-by-side tandem or a ride in the car. Corrie has a tut, she can spend hours with this. She also likes to collect things she finds along the way.
What is Corrie asking?
We are looking for a nice, sweet volunteer who comes especially for her. Someone who takes the trouble to get to know her and her gestures. She absolutely loves it when you make the same noises she does.
Someone who wants to swim with her or take a ride on the bike or drive a car with her and can come along when we have a fun activity at our residential care park.
It's nice to spend an hour with a volunteer who has all the attention for her.
There is no preference for a day, but preferably not between 13:00-15:00
The frequency is also negotiable.
