For a day spending location we are looking for men who go to jobs together with clients on request
What kind of group is it?
Service and maintenance is a daytime activity group with men and women between the ages of 25 and 61. The clients all need intensive supervision. Some have acquired brain damage, some have mild intellectual disabilities and some have moderate intellectual disabilities. The participants are motivated daily to go out with their supervisor for jobs that are requested. This can be for example; small removals, recycling, refurbishing materials, wood processing, taking things to the dump or sweeping, etc. The atmosphere within the group exudes a brown café and there is a lot of sitting outside. There is always a supervisor present.
What is being asked?
The group is looking for 1 or more volunteers for Tuesday/Thursday and Friday between 9:00-16:00 or part of this. The volunteer must be firm and tenacious, have a sense of humour, be passionate about the work and be reasonably vital. The volunteer must be willing to get to know and accept the target group. Preference is given to a man.
