Function information

Frieda is a 64-year-old lady with a mental disability and she really enjoys small trips. She can walk for short distances, but for longer distances she is dependent on a wheelchair. Because Frieda cannot go outside on her own, she is looking for someone who will guide her in this.

Frieda doesn't talk, but usually understands you if you talk to her in short sentences. If necessary, you can support your spoken word with gestures.

You will do her a great favor if you go for a walk with her, maybe go for a drive in your car or other smaller activities.

Are you available on Saturday morning or afternoon, or is it more convenient for you on Sunday afternoon or evening, we and Frieda would love to hear from you.

Within 's Heeren Loo, the efforts of volunteers are valuable. They contribute to a meaningful life for people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the many volunteers of 's Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and fulfill personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.

A VOG is required from you to work with our clients. This is requested through 's Heeren Loo, you can declare the costs for this.
