Chairman of the visual arts association Het Gelders Palet

We are the board of the "Het Gelders Palet" association for amateur painters in Wageningen and the surrounding area. The association has over 90 members.

After 10 years, the current chairman has decided that it is time for a new face with innovative ideas.

Job description:

The chairperson is the face of the association, the point of contact for members, maintains relations with the municipality and other organizations, and is supported by the other board members and members. In principle, the chairperson chairs the annual General Members' Meeting and monthly board meetings.

We organize courses in our own studio for members and non-members, make our studio available during Open Studios, and organize a number of exhibitions.

Job requirements:

Time and energy to pull the cart with us. An affinity for painting and drawing, hopefully also creatively active. Outgoing and eloquent.

What do you have to offer the volunteer?:

Enthusiastic and motivated co-directors. Members who develop their creativity in a well-equipped studio.  

During your induction period, you will be assisted by your fellow board members and the current chairperson if necessary.
