Board members wanted for Het Wagenings Nut
Do you want to make a difference for Wageningen? Het Wagenings Nut is looking for committed residents who want to contribute ideas from within the board regarding initiatives that make our city more beautiful, social, and livable. We are looking for new board members, including possibly a chairperson .
Since 1807, Het Wagenings Nut has initiated activities that improve the lives and living conditions of fellow Wageningen residents. Today, Het Wagenings Nut does this by financially supporting projects for Wageningen residents using capital built up in the past. In this way, Het Wagenings Nut makes a financial contribution to social initiatives such as playgrounds, orchestras, petting zoos, and festivals.
As a board member, you assess grant applications, help shape the direction of Het Wagenings Nut, and contribute to the visibility of our organization. With your commitment, we can do even more for Wageningen. By hearing the voice of residents, we know which initiatives and developments deserve support.
What are you going to do?
- Assessing grant applications
- Participate in approximately 3 board meetings per year
- Attending the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
- Participate in promotion and communication activities
- As Chair: prepare and chair meetings and act as the point of contact and representative of Het Wagenings Nut
What do we ask?
- Commitment to Wageningen and its residents
- Interest in social initiatives
- Enthusiasm to make a difference together
