On Monday mornings, we're working hard on our fitness at the Juliana location with chair gymnastics. We're looking for help with this.
At KleinGeluk - Juliana location - elderly people with dementia live who enjoy meeting each other, having a cup of coffee together, but also want to have something to do.
Every Monday morning, gym is on the schedule, and this activity is very popular. The help requested includes picking up and dropping off residents, setting up and tidying the room. Participating in gym class and having coffee with the residents afterward. This gym class is led by a social worker.
At KleinGeluk, we never miss an opportunity to promote the well-being of seniors. As a volunteer, you're invaluable to us! Sharing small moments of happiness together makes people feel valued. That's what we do it for.
We offer guidance and, if needed, you can participate in workshops to develop new skills. You can start working for just a few hours a month.
Good to know: as a volunteer you are insured (third party liability and accident insurance) and before starting work we request a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
