Do you maintain all email contacts of KerstSaam Wageningen with organizations, institutions, companies, churches and clubs? Do you ensure current and accurate data?
The success of KerstSaam Wageningen depends on the cooperation of as many organizations, institutions, companies, churches and clubs as possible that organize something fun for Christmas 2025 for Wageningen residents with a tight budget who need company and a listening ear.
We have identified over 160 of these organisations etc. They should all receive an email in which we encourage them to do something nice for our target group for Christmas 2025. Such an email exchange requires follow-up: sending reminders to those who have not yet responded, a follow-up email for those who have responded, answering individual questions. We would like to hear more details from the organisations that are actually going to offer something for Christmas this year (what are they offering?, for which target group?, at what time?, what price?, etc.). This is done using a standard form. All this data must be stored and managed correctly and securely in an Excel file. The overview on the KerstSaam Wageningen website is filled from this file. Each organisation then has its own page with all relevant data. Subsequently, all kinds of requests will come to adjust and update the data. Do you see yourself doing this job independently? Are you naturally administratively organised? Do you have experience with writing and sending emails that encourage the reader to take action? Are you handy with MS Word and Excel. Do you enjoy working with providers to find the best way for them to present themselves to their target audience? Do you enjoy working independently from your home office at times that suit you? Do you enjoy coordinating the broad outlines with the KerstSaam team and the website developers and taking responsibility for the details yourself? Are you quickly available?
Then you are the person we are looking for. Also if you have some of these characteristics and would like to gain new experiences in this project, we invite you to respond.
In this way, together we ensure that no one in Wageningen has to be alone at Christmas.

Wageningen offers a rich amount of christmas activities with which residents of Wageningen can meet eachother. Think of eating together, hiking together, celebrate christmas together.
KerstSaam Wageningen wants to show all these activities and make these more accessable, in particular for residents who are alone and need plaesant company and a listning ear. Where there is a lack of services we try to fill the gaps.
KerstSaam Wageningen is initiated on a not-for profit basis in 2025 by five committed civilians. KerstSaam Wageningen can only become succesful with the help of volunteers with passion for vulnable people.
