What is your role at Thuis?

The communications team contributes to the visibility and connectedness of Thuis, both within the community and externally. As a team connector, you ensure that the team works together smoothly, that tasks are clearly divided, and that our communications activities are in line with Thuis' mission.

You are the team's point of contact and the link with the rest of the organization. That is why we are looking for someone who is fluent in both Dutch and English.

What will you be doing?

• Organizing meetings and ensuring that we reach decisions that everyone agrees with.
• Supporting good cooperation: a pleasant atmosphere, clear agreements, and room for everyone's input.
• Maintaining an overview: who does what and when.
• Welcoming and training new volunteers.
• Attending core team meetings and representing the tasks and interests of the communications team.
• Being a point of contact for communication and maintaining contact with other teams so that we know what each other is doing and can align our communication activities accordingly.

What won't you be doing?

• Write or design texts yourself on a regular basis (you can if you like).
• Keep an eye on or check everything. You support the team, but we are collectively responsible.
