What are you going to do?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and enterprising support person to manage the recruitment of new buddies and volunteers, together with the coordinator. It is a volunteer position from 8 to 16 hours a week, on the beautiful estate 'Het Hoogeland' in Beekbergen. Enthusiasm, creativity, assertiveness and out of the box thinking are valued.

Volunteers are extremely important at IrisZorg. They make a valuable contribution to the quality of life of our clients. There are currently several projects in which our volunteers use their qualities, for example as a driver, supervisor on the care farm, in the flower greenhouse or in various social activities (such as walking, playing games, cycling)

In addition, we recently started a buddy project. The buddy project of IrisZorg connects enthusiastic volunteers as a buddy to our clients. Our clients often live in a small world and buddies are a link to participate in society again. Buddy couples, for example, go for a cup of coffee together, cycle together or swim together.

For example, your activities may include:

• Supporting the volunteer coordinator in organizing and coordinating the various volunteer projects
• Recruiting and selecting volunteers
• Motivating and supervising volunteers
• Information link between volunteers and coordinator of volunteer projects
• Co-develop and implement volunteer recruitment activities
• Administrative tasks such as taking minutes at meetings and keeping the volunteer administration

Together we look at which activities best suit you and your wishes and talents. Or in which areas you would like to develop.

• You have a good dose of human knowledge and a positive attitude towards life

• You are good at organizing and coordinating
• You are available at least 8 hours a week (times and days in consultation)
• You have good social and communication skills
• You have good computer skills, especially Excel, Outlook and Word
