What are you going to do
For our residential homes we are looking for a friendly and sociable cooking volunteer who wants to prepare a delicious meal every week, together with the residents.
You enjoy preparing and cooking meals and certainly doing this together with the residents. In the meantime, there is plenty of room for a chat, a laugh and sometimes just working together is enough. It can also happen that there are no residents who want to help. No cooking moment is the same and the change in residents present is also different each time.
This is you
You are open to life. You like to 'just' let things happen and can respond to the needs of the resident(s) on the spot.
Without judgement, you can empathise with others. You are reliable and you are able to make pleasant contact with our residents. You know how to activate and enthuse our residents in a natural way. If necessary, you can also be clear and indicate your boundaries.
You are available at least once a week at a fixed time from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and you will be linked to the relevant home.
How do we proceed?
After your registration, there will be an introductory meeting where we would like to hear from you who you are, what your hobbies are and what makes you happy. If we think we can mean something to each other, we will plan a meeting with your regular contact person who works at the house in question.

We ensure that you can perform your volunteer work well and

- an insurance
- a volunteer agreement in which the agreements are recorded
- and a volunteer allowance.

Are you enthusiastic, then sign up. After your registration, there will be an introductory meeting in which we will also tell you about IrisZorg, the Het Hoogeland location and the relevant residential home. If there is a mutual agreement, we will arrange an initial meeting.
