Het Etty Hillesum Centrum is op zoek naar een nieuw lid voor onze raad van toezicht die toezicht kan houden op het Meldpunt Discriminatie. Daarvoor vragen wij sociaal juridische kennis of kennis of ervaring in discriminatie wetgeving.
Het EHC is een kleine maar groeiende organisatie die alleen kan bestaan dankzij de inzet van zo’n 40 vrijwilligers. Haar relevantie voor de Deventer samenleving wordt sterker gevoeld waardoor het beroep op haar kennis en deelname groter worden. Wij zoeken een persoon die affiniteit heeft met de missie van het EHC om uitsluiting en discriminatie tegen te gaan.
De huidige RvT bestaat uit 4 personen die elk hun aandachtsgebied hebben, financiën, educatie, en actualiteiten. De RvT ziet zichzelf in het gesprek met de directeur vooral als inspirator en uitdager en hecht aan een scherp inhoudelijk debat met veel ruimte voor de rol van critical friend.

A group of 50 volunteers ensures that the EHC is a place for connection and inspiration.
The Deventer Discrimination Hotline (MDD) is part of the EHC.
