Board Member Federation Emmaus Netherlands (FEN)

At Emmaus, we're made up of practical idealists. We stand in solidarity with the most vulnerable in society. We are self-reliant and independent. We earn our own money, primarily through our recycling activities. In the Netherlands, Emmaus consists of 12 (residential) communities. Together, these communities own 14 thrift stores. All locations focus on important goals: empowering people to live meaningful lives and helping them recover from difficult situations; improving the environment by sorting and reusing discarded products as much as possible; and allocating profits from the thrift stores to selected projects. The board meets approximately eight times a year. There is also a general meeting twice a year. The meeting location varies between Emmaus locations.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed. Participation via Zoom is also possible.
