Wanted: coaches to guide new Wageningen residents with practical and administrative matters. The involvement is initially intensive but is later phased out.

We are looking immediately

Volunteers who have two half-days per week available to guide a new resident of Wageningen from the start and show them the way.

It initially involves many practical and administrative matters; after that, it is important to arrange everything together so that the status holders feel comfortable and can build a life.

We call it: social guidance. And your title then becomes "coach".

Time investment

Usually, it is somewhat more intensive at the beginning, and depending on the need or demand, it can become more extensive afterwards.

What do you need

What you need: patience, flexibility, cultural sensitivity, and team spirit.

What we offer

As an organization, we offer you a great team and interesting training.

There is a clear roadmap, a manual, and an experienced coach as backup. Annet Timmerman is your dedicated team leader. We work from Markt 17.

Effective immediately

Due to apartments becoming available in the old City Hall this summer, at least 5 new status holders (single people) will be moving to Wageningen in the coming weeks.

In addition, families from Syria and Iraq are also moving to the Netherlands this summer, for whom second coaches are still needed.

We provide guidance for at least the first year (sometimes longer). To build a relationship of trust, it is therefore beneficial if interested parties commit for at least a year.
