Volunteer with us on April 18, 2026 for the Beregoeie Run!

The Bear Run will kick off at Ouwehands Zoo on Saturday, April 18th. Participants will run or walk through the park, past the Bear Forest, and through the lush Gelderland woods. With every step they take, they raise money for the Bears in Mind foundation and the Ouwehand Zoo Foundation. Together, they are committed to the care, protection, and awareness of bears.

To ensure everything runs smoothly, we're looking for helping hands! Perhaps there are some members in your network who would like to join us for a fun, active, and meaningful day?

What can you do during the Beregoeie Run?

• Participants provided with drinks and snacks at a rest stop
• Helping at an experience or entertainment point
• As a route guide (moving participants in the right direction)
• At the finish
• With the dismantling
• Sending letters to residents (1 week before the event)

Without volunteers, there's no Beregoeie Run! Your contribution, in whatever form, is essential. Together, we'll make the event a resounding success. Volunteer shifts start around 2:00 PM and last until 8:00 PM at the latest. But there's always room for improvement. We'll provide clear explanations, guidance, and, of course, a fantastic atmosphere!
