We work closely with the social network of the residents, local residents from the neighbourhood and with volunteers. They are very important to us. We provide knowledge and cooperation, so that the volunteer can give his attention to the resident and the people from the neighbourhood.

L ocatie Berkenhove is located near the city centre of Apeldoorn. Independent living and – if needed – receiving care at home is possible here. A cosy Grand Café where residents and neighbours like to drop in for a cup of coffee or a meal. There is a wide range of activities. We try to look at the individual as much as possible and respond to the interest that is requested or fits. Volunteers contribute to this. Personal attention helps to fill in a pleasant day for the resident. At Atlant there is really room to develop yourself; so you can count on support from employees and a nice range of training courses.
What are you going to do?
As a volunteer, you are the resting point and the familiar face for the guests in the meeting place. As a host or hostess, your goal is to create conditions for the guests to meet each other in a pleasant atmosphere. You will receive the guests in a friendly manner, paying attention to which guests need some extra attention or who needs a chat and could therefore also connect well with other guests. You serve coffee, tea or other refreshments that are available in the Grand Café and you also pay for them. You take some time for a chat. You ensure that the Grand Café remains tidy and you leave it clean at the end of the morning or afternoon.
You can make use of the extensive experience of the other team members.
We are currently looking for someone for Friday afternoon, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM
