Do you see opportunities and do you love football? Then come and support the guidance of our clients.
In Wageningen, the Football Workshop has been around for some time now. Clients work, train and learn here, both in the sports field and in terms of performing work at the sports complex. To guide them in this, we are looking for volunteers who see opportunities.
What are you going to do?
You assist the supervisors at De Voetbalwerkplaats: a place for working, learning and training. You support in guiding people in a vulnerable position. We start the morning by drinking coffee together. Then we perform 1.5 hours of maintenance work on the grounds of the football club: e.g. cleaning paths and parking lots, maintenance of changing rooms and football fields, picking up litter. Finally, we train together for an hour. In this we focus on basic technique, fitness, positive coaching. Once a month we play a match against companies and organisations from Wageningen.
Who are we looking for?
You can easily work together with different people. You are open-minded. You have an affinity with football and care. Some affinity with grounds maintenance and/or green maintenance is nice. Knowledge of football is also nice, but not an absolute 'must'.
