Assistant supervisor at De Voetbalwerkplaats in Wageningen

The Football Workshop has been in place in Wageningen for some time now. Clients work, train and learn here, both in the sporting field and in terms of performing activities at the sports complex. We are looking for volunteers who see opportunities to assist them in this.

What are you going to do?

You assist the supervisors at De Voetbalwerkplaats: a place for working, learning and training. You support people in a vulnerable position. We start the morning with a cup of coffee together. Then we carry out 1.5 hours of maintenance work on the grounds of the football club: among other things, keeping paths and parking spaces clean, maintenance of changing rooms and the football fields, dirt picks. Finally, we train together for an hour. We focus on basic technique, condition, positive coaching. Once a month we play a match against companies and organizations from Wageningen.

Who are we looking for?

You can easily collaborate with different people. You are open minded. You have an affinity with football and care. Some affinity with grounds maintenance and / or green maintenance is nice. Knowledge of football is also nice, but not an absolute 'must'.
