We are a group of 9 clients with an intellectual disability who live together in a very pleasant residential group!
Who are we?
We are a group of 9 clients, all with an intellectual disability. It is a parental initiative with a Christian identity just outside the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo. The house has 9 apartments and a large general living and living space. We receive 24-hour care and guidance. We are between 24 and 59 years old. But our intellectual/social-emotional level varies greatly. 7 clients are very independent and only need guidance. They come to the guidance themselves to ask for help. 2 clients need more care, help and proximity. They use a walker and wheelchair for long distances. Everyone can communicate verbally. During the week we go to day care on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays and in the weekends we are (largely) free. We like playing games, doing puzzles, painting, drawing, ironing beads, going on trips, going to the city, having coffee somewhere, etc.
What are we asking?
We would like it if someone would come by on Wednesday afternoon and/or Saturday or Sunday afternoon to play a game, take a walk or go somewhere fun. There are also fun things to do at the residential care park that we can go to together. Preferably every week of course, but less is also very nice! Having a car is a plus, because not everyone is equally mobile. Of course, all kilometers driven and costs incurred are reimbursed.
