We are a shelter for people with intellectual disabilities. The garden is too big to maintain yourself. We could really use help!
Who are we?
Logeerhuis Beekbergen offers accommodation during the weekend and during the week to young people and young adults aged 6 to 30 years. We also offer childcare during school days and after school. The house is in a rural location and has a large garden with 2 trampolines, a football field, a sandpit and a go-kart track. During the day, the young people go to school or to work. After 15:00 someone can occasionally help in the garden. But otherwise we depend on volunteers who help us maintain the garden. We have a lawnmower and some garden tools.
What do we ask?
We are looking for one or more volunteers who would like to maintain our garden so that our young people can relax and play in it. It is mainly about pruning, mowing, leaf blowing and keeping our large garden tidy. The larger work, so no small plants.
