Who wants to tour the Veluwe with a group of people with intellectual disabilities once a month?
What is the purpose?
We are looking for volunteer drivers. People with proof that they are allowed to drive a van with clients (or are willing to obtain this proof). Every 2 weeks on Saturday between 12:00-16:00 we want to organize a bus ride across the Veluwe with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 8 clients. Clients register with us. These are clients with intellectual and sometimes physical disabilities. All clients can only go out with a volunteer. As a driver, you pick up the bus at the place where the bus is reserved. The idea is that you drive 1.5 and do not have to get out. Then you bring the clients back safely to the pick-up point,
What do we ask?
A volunteer who enjoys driving. Someone who has affinity with people with intellectual disabilities. The bus ride is organized every two weeks on Saturday. We are looking for a number of drivers so that it can be alternated.
