Summary

Rini is a 69 year old man with an intellectual disability. He is looking forward to a volunteer coming especially for him.

Detailed description

Who is Rini?

Rini is a sweet, helpful and sociable man with a mild intellectual disability, comparable to the level of a toddler. Rini lives in the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo and receives 24-hour care here. He can talk well and he understands everything. He walks with a walker and uses a tricycle. A big hobby of Rini is football, he follows all the matches and also enjoys going to a football match. Rini loves to play games; people don't annoy you, shuffleboard, cards, but especially yadzee is a favorite. He would really like it if his future volunteer could do this. Have a drink at our brasserie with a delicious pastry, or eat delicious pancakes at the pancake restaurant. You will do Rini a great favor. Unfortunately, his volunteer who was there for him for no less than 30 years has passed away. As a result, he misses a buddy who comes especially for him to do fun things together. During the day he goes to a fun day care group until 2:30 PM. And on Thursday he goes to the Klup.

What does Rini ask?

Rini is looking for a volunteer with whom he can have a good time. Rini likes it when he can chat with someone and make jokes. Rini attaches great importance to agreements made with him and wants everyone to adhere to them. Rini finds this difficult when agreements made do not go ahead. It would be nice if his volunteer likes games and enjoys having an easy chat with him. Come to our brasserie for coffee and a pastry, a pancake in the pancake restaurant or something else nice. Going to a football match would also be a lot of fun! It can be done in the late afternoon, evening or weekend. The frequency is in consultation. Sometimes an hour is already of great added value! The costs incurred (in consultation) can be declared.
