Taking a walk, touring by car, looking at clothing books makes Linda happy
Who is Linda?
Linda is a 54-year-old woman with a moderate intellectual disability. She lives in a residential group at the residential care park of 's Heeren Loo, where she receives 24-hour care. She understands everything at the level of a toddler and speaks with few words. She is often cheerful and likes to socialize. Indoors she uses a rollator and outdoors she uses a push wheelchair (foldable). She likes to play with stickers and beads, she likes Dutch music, walking, riding in the car and looking at clothes and clothing books. She would enjoy doing this with someone.
What is Linda asking?
We are looking for a volunteer for Linda who is sweet and understanding. Someone who comes especially for her. Take a walk together in our residential care park, have a drink at our Brasserie, look at clothing books together or take her for a car ride. She loves clothes, stickers and beads, so it's nice to pay attention to this together. Her supervisors are happy to tell you more about what you can do together. The day, time and frequency are negotiable. An hour once a month is fine.
