Who are we?
Meeting place de Stolp is a place where residents of Apeldoorn are very welcome to meet others/each other, have a cup of coffee and/or participate in organized activities. It falls under general facilities of the municipality. Here we work together with various care professionals and volunteers and offer residents in various ways to answer various (help) questions. People come here because of loneliness, distance to the labor market, elderly, etc. They are often regular visitors, but there is room to come in once. During the week, various activities are offered, such as; creative activities, walking, games, flower arranging, training/courses, etc. We also offer a hot meal 5 days a week and the local resident can eat with us at the cafe. Lunch is offered every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
What are we asking?
We are looking for a volunteer for Thursday (morning and/or afternoon). On that day we offer various activities. In the morning there are mostly games played, at 12:00 there is lunch and in the afternoon there is a movement activity and there is room to meet each other and an accessible cup of coffee. On Thursday there is a professional who is looking for support from a volunteer for the activities. The volunteer supports with pouring coffee/tea, preparing materials, doing the shopping, supervising/playing games, having conversations, etc. It is from 9:00-15:30, but part of that is also possible. Come and get to know us without obligation!
