Who wants to bake with Gerlof, arrange flowers, cycle, play games or drink a cup of coffee?
Who is Gerlof?
Gerlof is a man from 1935 with a mild intellectual disability. He has lived on his own for a long time and is used to doing his own things. He currently lives with a group of people with severe intellectual disabilities. He likes to joke and can communicate well. Gerlof is in a wheelchair and can walk short distances with the walker. He needs help with daily matters such as operating the tablet, pouring a drink or going to the toilet. He likes to bake, the airbone loop also has his interest, he has many medals. He also likes arranging flowers, cycling on a wheelchair bicycle, playing chess and drinking a cup of coffee. Gerlof has epilepsy. You don't need any experience with this. You will receive training about this from the supervisors.
What does Gerlof ask?
Gerlof is preferably looking for a volunteer who could be on Saturday afternoon, but another day is also possible in consultation. Someone who knows how to activate him to fun activities and who comes especially for him.
