Looking for a swimming buddy!

Who are we?

Monique is a 42-year-old woman with an intellectual disability. She is mobile and is looking for a patient, sociable and enthusiastic volunteer who wants to go swimming with her on Tuesday evenings. She needs verbal support in her self-reliance. She smokes and can sometimes ask for a cigarette from unknown people. Preference is given to a woman.

Activities

Swim with Monique every Tuesday evening from 6.30 pm to 7:15 pm.

We ask

• Someone who is patient, sociable and enthusiastic.
• Affinity with people with intellectual disabilities
• You can deal with people calmly and kindly and clearly
• You are caring and have a sense of humor
• You are available for a longer period of time

Within 's Heeren Loo, the efforts of volunteers are valuable. They contribute to a meaningful life for people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to the many volunteers of 's Heeren Loo, we can organize extra activities and fulfill personal attention and wishes for clients. Think of taking a walk, playing a game or just having a good conversation while enjoying a cup of coffee.
