Would you like to go for a walk together, drive a car, visit the petting zoo or visit an activity on the grounds together? Benneke likes to go with you during the weekend!
Who is Benneke?
Benneke is an aging man with a severe mental disability. Benneke is mainly a cheerful man who enjoys the things that happen around him. Benneke cycles on his tricycle or goes along in his wheelchair. Benneke can walk indoors. His intelligible verbal communication is usually limited to: hello and yes. When he leaves he sometimes shouts: aju. His language is minimal but he understands more.
Benneke likes to collect/cuddle with his cuddly toys. He also likes to look at the (advertising) brochures and booklets. Benneke likes to undertake activities. He enjoys going out for a day, such as to a petting zoo, the donkeys in Epe or to the Apenheul.
Would you like to get to know him? Would you like to attend a party with Benneke? Then drop by for a cup of coffee and hopefully you will go out with him!
What does Benneke ask?
Benneke would like to do something fun every now and then during the weekends. The frequency and activity will be discussed.
Benneke needs a buddy who is patient. Benneke finds it difficult when things happen too quickly. In a calm/clear way it offers him safety and security. Benneke doesn't like it when you get too close.
