Who is Anita?
Anita is a smooth woman from 1969 with a mild intellectual disability. She lives in a residential group outside the grounds of 's Heeren Loo. Because of her autism, she likes clarity and structure and wants to know where she stands. She is verbally strong, which means she can be questioned/overestimated. She is mobile, can cycle independently on well-known routes and can run errands independently in well-known stores. Anita is active and a cheerful woman. Sometimes she suffers from tension and a full head, then she goes to her room and listens to music or writes in her notebook. Cycling can also clear her head for a while. She enjoys making jigsaw puzzles, crafts or knitting.
What does Anita ask?
Anita is looking for a volunteer (woman) from 25 years and older. Someone who comes especially for her. Someone who comes to drink a cup of coffee, cycle together or take a walk, want to go to a terrace together or go shopping. She thinks it is important that she feels comfortable with the volunteer and that the volunteer knows how to deal with her. The supervisors of her group are there to provide guidance in this regard. She has no daytime activities on Tuesdays. So she would prefer to meet on a Tuesday or at the weekend. The frequency is in consultation. Are you coming to meet Anita?
