Do you have experience with financial worries, work, or housing? On October 2nd, we'll be talking with researchers in Wageningen about how research can better connect with your life.
There's a lot of research on health and lifestyle. This often involves people with concerns about money, work, or housing. But this research is usually conceived without the people it's intended to address. We want to change that. We're launching a new panel in Wageningen. In this panel, we'll talk with researchers about what's important in daily life. We'll contribute to the research: sometimes at the outset, sometimes on the outcomes. And sometimes we'll suggest topics ourselves.
We are looking for people who have experience with financial worries, insecure work, housing problems or stress.
The panel meets four times a year. The first meeting is on Wednesday, October 2nd in Wageningen. You don't need to prepare anything. Your experience is sufficient.
During this meeting, we'll talk with a researcher who works on preventive health—research into how people can stay healthier so they get sick less often. She wants to hear what you find important, so her research better aligns with your practice.
You will receive compensation and lunch .
