Ons Honk is a meeting place in Apeldoorn-south where local residents meet, have a meal and various activities take place with a very nice professional kitchen.
Every week we cook a delicious hot meal. Residents from the south register to come and have a nice meal with us. Our volunteers serve about 15-30 local residents per day. We start preparing the meal at 09:00 and have dinner at 12:00. Our local residents eat with us from 12:00 to 13:00. Our goal is not commercial, it is to connect people and have a nice meal together.
We are looking for a volunteer cook who wants to cook with us. We cook from Monday to Friday and the working hours are from 9 am to 2 pm. The working hours and/or days are in consultation with each other. If you can work part-time or just a few days, that's also possible.
Your duties will include preparing meals, cooking, then tidying up and cleaning.
As a volunteer cook you meet the following requirements;
• Affinity with cooking
• Working hygienically
• Enjoy being in contact with people
• Able to keep appointments
• Flexibility
Candidates with previous experience as a chef are preferred.

To represent the interests of people living in Apeldoorn South with an existing or future "care demand", both towards the Municipality of Apeldoorn and towards care or welfare providers and health insurers.
The neighborhood cooperative stimulates and invites residents of Apeldoorn South to become involved and participate at street and neighborhood level. Supported by professional organizations and volunteers.
