On Sunday morning, offering a small activity to elderly people suffering from dementia in the nursing home while enjoying a cup of coffee with the host lady.
De Swaen is the activity room in the nursing home Groote & Voorster where (demented) residents like to come for a cup of coffee, a chat, socializing and a small activity. Together with the host lady you pick up the residents of the department and you start in the Swaen with a cup of coffee. One Sunday morning you play a nice company game together, watch a nice performance or it is a pleasant morning where all kinds of things are discussed. Together you take care of cleaning up the dishes ect.
We are looking for several volunteers who want to come and support alternately on Sunday morning.
