Have you always wanted to get acquainted with Dutch Sign Language? Or do you want to know what your name sign is? Join this workshop!

For you as a volunteer, too, it is an addition to your skills. In addition to practicing practical sign language, you will gain insight into Deaf culture and be kept up to date with current developments within this community.

It promises to be an active session where you will mainly be doing and experiencing a lot yourself. The workshop is known for its positive atmosphere, where learning and fun go hand in hand. Moreover, you will receive fun course material to continue working on at home.


NB:

Wear comfortable clothing (no tight clothing or high heels) so that you can practice gestures freely.


About the trainer

Jacqueline Damen is leading this workshop. As a trained coach and facilitator, she has been working for some time to raise awareness of Dutch Sign Language.
