Twice a week you man the VCW desk together with a colleague. VCW has a role as a connector.

What are you going to do?

Answer questions from residents

• You take requests from residents for help from a volunteer. Most questions come in by phone or email.
• You keep asking questions to get the question as concrete and clear as possible.
• Then pass the question on to one of our partners.
• You process the data in a customer tracking system.

This is the task you spend the most time on.

Advising people looking for volunteer work

• you think along with people to find the right volunteer work.

The crowds at the counter are very variable. It is sometimes busy, but also often very quiet,

In addition to the desk services, there is a consultation with fellow desk employees once every 6 to 8 weeks.

What do we ask?

• you are customer-friendly and can put yourself in someone else's shoes;
• you can listen empathetically;
• you are a patient and tactical person;
• you dare to make choices yourself and can work independently after training;
• you can deal with the difference in hectic pace at work: sometimes it is busy, often it is very quiet;
• you are available two half days a week: Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon from 2 to 4 pm
• you can easily handle computer programs.
