Food Bank Neder-Veluwe is looking for a Building Manager

The Neder-Veluwe Food Bank owns a warehouse in Wageningen. The main activities of the Food Bank take place in this warehouse and the warehouse serves as a base for the distribution of food parcels at our 6 distribution points. The building manager is responsible for the management and maintenance of this warehouse and the equipment and installations in the warehouse. The Food Bank is looking for a committed building manager.

Who are we looking for?

• You have experience in construction or installation technology
• You preferably have experience in building management
• You have a practical attitude
• You are able to carry out minor maintenance yourself (together with other volunteers)
• You are available an average of 4 hours per week (work can largely be planned yourself)
• You are available to respond immediately in the event of disruptions or emergencies

What are you going to do?

• Creating and implementing the (multi-year) maintenance planning and budget
• Planning and carrying out annual servicing and maintenance
• Planning and (self) carrying out minor maintenance
• Coordinating work: you are a spider in the web of suppliers, installers and food bank volunteers
