Legal Volunteer

Vluchteling Onder Dak is a small organization in Wageningen that is passionately committed to helping refugees whose asylum applications have been rejected. We support these people to find a sustainable solution to their situation - for example by looking for a legal alternative in the Netherlands (appeal, repeated asylum application, etc.). We are looking for a Legal Volunteer for this.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Research and analysis of legal files
• Investigating grounds for residence
• Collecting evidence
• Providing legal advice to people who are undocumented
• File consultation with colleagues and lawyers

We are looking for someone who:

• Preferably has knowledge of Dutch law, e.g. administrative law and immigration law.
• Has an affinity with refugees, undocumented migrants and Refugee Under Dak;
• Can express themselves well in writing and enjoys working in a team;
• Flexible and available on an on-call basis.
