We are looking for enthusiastic sales staff for our store.
We are looking for enthusiastic sales staff for our store. Foreigners are also welcome, provided they have sufficient command of the Dutch language to work in our store.
Job description:
As a sales employee you help our customers in a customer-friendly way, you perform checkout operations, accept and sort goods. You ensure that the store looks neat. You provide information about the work of Terre des Hommes and specifically about the project supported by the store. You do this together with a colleague sales employee. If desired, you can also help with selecting and pricing items.
Job requirements:
You are enthusiastic and have good communication skills, you can work independently, you are available for a longer period of time, you have an affinity with Terre des Hommes and the second-hand sector. A command of the Dutch language does not have to be perfect, but it is sufficient for working in the store.
What do you have to offer the volunteer ?:
We offer you a pleasant, relaxed working atmosphere with many contacts and variety of activities in an organization with over 45 volunteers.
What makes the work worthwhile ?:
Terre des Hommes stops exploitation of children in developing countries. With projects in the field of education, health and independence, we make underprivileged children more promising. The Terre des Hommes shop in Wageningen sells good second-hand items, which can be returned for free. The proceeds from this go to the projects, while we also contribute to sustainability.
Working time:
Once every two weeks for half a day from 10am to 1.30pm. or from 1.30 pm to 5 pm.
