Do you have experience with fundraising and do you think that children in poverty also deserve a nice birthday? Then become a voluntary fundraiser for the Deferred Children's Parties Foundation!
Thanks to our intervention, children who grow up in poverty can still celebrate a children's party with their friends for their birthday.
Every primary school class has an average of 3 children who grow up in poverty. We want these children to live until their birthday without stomach pain. Your birthday should be the most beautiful day of the year.
A lot of money is needed for our services. More and more care providers from all over the country are registering (almost one-year-old) children from the target group with us.
Due to corona we have adjusted our services. Of course we do not abandon the children.
That is why the registered birthdays now receive a fun package instead of a children's party. A box full of (sustainable) surprises! This allows them to progress for a while in the sporting, creative and educational field. The packages bring good luck to the families where they end up.
As soon as we can facilitate children's parties again, we will do that again.

Activities
We take a broad view of fundraising. So not only applying for funds, but also networking with companies, business clubs, etc. Fundraising events in particular yield a lot: fun and money!

What does the Deferred Children's Parties Foundation do?
Unfortunately, it is not obvious for thousands of children to throw a children's party for their birthday. The Deferred Children's Parties Foundation offers children in poverty a day to remember. We ensure that this vulnerable target group has the afternoon of their lives and let them enjoy a fully catered party. The children's parties are organized outside the home and we take the worry completely out of the hands of parents. As a result, they also experience a carefree and pleasant afternoon.
Eating cake and playing games together
During the birthday parties, games are played, children make the most beautiful crafts or football is played outside. Sports, culture, nature and technology are themes for the children's parties that we organize. In addition to all the activities, there is also cake and a present for the birthday boy or girl. That makes the party complete!
Every donation is a party
More and more children in the Netherlands live in poverty. Parents have no money to organize a birthday party and children celebrate their birthday without a gift or in the worst case not at all. We want to change this and believe that children should be able to feel like children again.
We need your help with this. Together we ensure that children get a smile on their face again. They are the center of attention for an afternoon and enjoy their birthday!
