Da Capo is looking for a babysitting volunteer to look after the children of women who are taking language lessons. With your help, mothers can go to Dutch lessons and children can have a nice morning or afternoon! In this way, these children are also helped to learn Dutch and reduce their language deficit.

FURTHER DESCRIPTION

Da Capo offers migrant women a place to work on themselves, making it easier to participate in society. Through language lessons, but also other activities and a training program for personal development, they learn to work on their personal goals. Because there are a large number of mothers with children aged 0-4 years who have difficulty leaving home, Da Capo wants to offer a babysitting option. If the mother goes to a lesson or an activity, the child can go to the children's area at Da Capo. In this way we want to encourage mothers in particular, who otherwise have little opportunity to start activities outside the home, to come to Da Capo. You can help them by becoming a babysitting volunteer and entertaining and teaching their children.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

We are still looking for babysitting volunteers. It is also possible as a substitute. Then you only come when the regular babysitter cannot come. Experience not required, but is a plus. Together, a structured program will have to be set up to provide the children with a safe and structured learning environment.

The lesson times are from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM and from 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM. So you can come in the morning or in the afternoon.
