We are looking for people who want to help clean the (used) toys obtained through collection. In addition, the volunteer helps with toy collections and with keeping the store clean.
FURTHER DESCRIPTION
We are looking for support for cleaning the (used) toys that have been obtained through collection. We ask our volunteers:
- that they have an eye for the condition of the toys
- that they critically check whether the toy is complete and in good condition
- in addition, the volunteer helps with collections of toys and with keeping the store clean
Our ideal volunteer has:
• Affinity with the objective of the Toy Bank
• Enjoyment in cleaning toys and its end result
• Pleasure in working with fellow volunteers
• Decent knowledge of the Dutch language
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
The Toy Bank is currently open three times a month, on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings. Cleaning activities mainly take place during the opening hours at our location at Fabianusstraat 4. The Toy Bank Apeldoorn Foundation "de Schatkist" offers the possibility to select 2 toys and a book a maximum of 4 times a year [every quarter] to children from 0 to Living in the municipality of Apeldoorn for 12 years, whose parents have a pass from the Food Bank or Regelrecht.
There is a nice group of people involved in the Treasury, they regularly help with the openings and cleaning. However, we could still use a lot of extra hands!! www.speelgoedbankapeldoorn.nl
