Detailed description
The care volunteer provides informal care in the broad sense of the word. Together with other volunteers and a professional care team, they ensure the well-being of the residents in the hospice. There is an induction period and training takes place regularly.

Caring for the residents of the hospice is very satisfying. Despite the sad phase the resident finds itself in, there is also a lot of laughter. The goal is to keep the quality of the last months as high as possible and that is often in small things. Working in a team can also give a lot of satisfaction. Volunteering in the hospice is not suitable for people who themselves have unresolved grief. Past experiences can help to be a good volunteer.
