Summary
You'll work with other employees to maintain the StadsAkkers grounds. This primarily involves mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, and pruning trees.Detailed description
StadsAkkers has two large fields where we grow vegetables and flowers; there are also three greenhouses, a berry and blackberry garden, and an orchard. Several buildings are situated on the property, and hedges surround it.
We need someone to help with grounds maintenance for at least two half-days. We're looking for an energetic person with experience mowing lawns with a riding mower or who thinks they can learn quickly. A brush cutting certificate is a plus.
You'll become part of a group of enthusiastic volunteers who care for StadsAkkers and you'll have the opportunity to learn more about everything involved in growing organic vegetables.
